The Hitachi KP-D8
is a compact self contained single CCD color camera, featuring a 1/3 inch microlens CCD. A fixed shutter can be selected in four steps, or AES control can be selected to maintain optimum video output level, when using a lens without an auto iris. Three modes of auto white balance can be selected, in the ATW mode, the camera will track and maintain white balance over a wide range of color temperatures. Remote control of all camera functions is available via an RS-232C interface. A single Hirose connector is provided for power, camera output, auto iris control for the lens, and RS-232 ctrl.
