New GigE Machine Vision Cameras from Hitachi Hitachi Denshi introduces their new line of Gige CCD cameras.  With a maximum datarate of 1 Gigabit per second and transmission distances of 100 meters, GigE surpasses both Firewire 800 ( 1394b ) and Camera Link for performance and ease of use.   Compatible with the GENiCAM standard, Hitachi's GigE cameras may be used in any software application that is GENiCAM compliant.  Cameras may be powered externally or directly via power over your Ethernet connection.  To learn more about GigE, read our white paper titled What Exactly is Gige ?
